Nov 2004 LiftPort Demonstrated a 90 Meter climb during a snowstorm at MIT
Sep 2005 LiftPort breaks 1,000 feet with a new climber and better ribbon.
Jan 2006 LiftPort creates a 1 mile tethered tower, up which the climber reaches 1,500 feet. (this thethered tower is the tallest thing ever built by man and its height record has yet to ever be surpassed by any man-made structure.)
Aug 2012 LiftPort enters into it's LiftPort 2.0 phase, kicking it off with their successful kickstarter campaign.
