In an effort to provide better service to our readers, as well as to our own company lines, LiftPort Media has changed to a new web host and backend CMS.

Last year we moved from static pages to a more dynamic CMS (content management system) using a backend developed by one of our interns from static html pages. This was a good move that allowed us to update several hundred pages of stale or inaccurate information.

Unfortunately, that CMS, as well as the web hosting company we were using, did not meet the needs of high demand situations. The CMS system implemented was also very difficult to maintain. The solution was 1: to go with a web hosting company that would cater to our needs, and 2: to use a proven CMS backend.

As we move forward, we will be adding content and creating seperate sites for each LiftPort Group Company. LiftPort Media will be handling the management of the web sites and will be creating content.
