f this is a national holiday for you, I hope you’re having fun with people you care about. I got myself a little sunburned yesterday. It’s been in the high 80’s to low 90’s for about two weeks now. But I’d been stuck indoors for most of it. So, I took advantage of the holiday and spent some time in the sun.
As for the project, I spent some time working with Isaac on the art show. We scheduled it for the 20th of August – to coincide with the International Space Elevator Conference and with the city’s Art Walk. He and I will sort through about 30,000 images, and whittle that down to 500 key images. From that, we’ll see what we’ve got, and decide from there. We also have a couple terabytes of video that we’re trying to sort out. I’m not sure what we’re going to do with that, just yet. We’re thinking about a retrospective of the whole Space Elevator story – from 2001 to where we’re at now. It should be fun! I’m looking forward to it.
As this evolves further, I’ll keep you posted. I’ve got another meeting with Isaac on Monday.
Take care, mjl
